POST FALLS SCHOOL DISTRICT #273KOOTENAI COUNTY, STATE OF IDAHOSUPPLEMENTAL LEVY ELECTIONMAY 20, 2025The Board of Trustees of Post Falls School District #273, Kootenai County, State of Idaho, is seeking authorizatin to levy a Supplemental Levy for the following purposes and approximate amount of levy funds to be allocated to each use:Purpose AmountRenewal of funding for extracurricular student activities and athletics $1,038,138Renewal of safety, security, counseling, and nursing support services $1,662,828Renewal of funding for Kootenai Technical Education Campus (KTEC) $ 393,432Renewal of funding for salaries for all staff $2,864,153TOTAL ANNUAL LEVY AMOUNT $5,958,551QUESTION:Shall the Board of Trustees of Post Falls School District #273, Kootenai County, State of Idaho be authorized and empowered to levy a Supplemental Levy in the amount of five million, nine hundred fifty-eight thousand five hundred fifty-one dollars ($5,958,551) each year for two (2) years for a total of eleven million, nine hundred seventeen thousand, one hundred two dollars ($11,917,102) commencing with the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2025, for the purposes stated above; as provided in the resolution of the Board of Trustees of Post Falls School District #273 adopted on Feburary 10, 2025?The estimated average annual cost to the taxpayer on the proposed levy is a tax of $61.35 per $100,000 of taxable assessed value, per year, based on current conditions.
