SPIRIT LAKE FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICTBONNER COUNTY, IDAHOKOOTENAI COUNTY IDAHOTO LEVY A SPECIAL TAX LEVYShall the Board of Commissioners of the Spirit Lake Fire Protection district be authorized and empowered to temporarily increase its annual budget from property tax levy, pursuant to Iadho Code Section 63-802(3), in the amount of four hundred and seventy seven thousand and no/100 dollars ($477,000) commencing with the District s fiscal year 2026 for a period not to exceed two (2) years, for the purpose of maintaing and increasing staffing levels, equipping and maintaining fire district operations, and purchasing and maintaining vehicles and facilities in order to protect property against fire and to provide life preservation services, as provided in the resolution of the Board of Commissioners of the Spirit Lake Fire Protection District adopted on February 19, 2025?The estimated cost to the taxpayer of the proposed levy is a tax of $24.66 per $100,000 of taxable assessed value, per year, based on current conditions.
