Proposed Tax Levy (Renewal)A majority affirmative vote is necessary for passage.A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Geauga County Department on Aging for the purposeof providing or maintaining senior citizens services or facilities that the county auditorestimates will collect $3,330,000 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each $1 oftaxable value, which amounts to $21 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s appraisedvalue, for 5 years, commencing in 2025, first due in calendar year 2026.
