The Town of Cramerton operates under the Council-Manager form of Government. The structure of Council-Manager Government is similar to that of any large business. The registered voters of the Town elect the Town Board of Commissioners, and the Board then chooses a full-time Manager whose duties compare to those of a corporate General Manager.The Mayor is elected at-large in non-partisan elections for a four year term. The Mayor votes only in the case of a tie vote by the Town Board.The five Commissioners are elected at-large in non-partisan elections for staggered four-year terms. These elections are held in odd numbered years.

I have over 20 years focused on ensuring a large corporation follow the rules. I am detail oriented, and passionate about helping our small town manage the inevitable growth and transform into the best version we can be! I lead through service - listening to what is needed, and then work with my colleagues to execute toward excellence.
Managing the infrastructure and zoning changes that come with growth. Support small businesses and working families - doing what we can to provide support and resources to drive the economic engine of our community. Grow our public spaces and parks to enhance the lives of our families and support our local ecology.
Demand more of the for-profit companies building housing developments in our community. Require that they offset the land use by building green spaces to support families and the local ecology. Require that they contribute toward the expansion of infrastructure needed to maintain the quality of our daily lives. Lastly - holding them accountable to their commitments.
