TOWN OF DREXEL MAYOR
The 6-member Town Council consists of the Mayor and five Council Members. The government and general management of the town are vested in the Town Council which establishes policy for the town, appoints the town manager, adopts ordinances, including zoning, and sets tax rates and establishes annual budgets. The Mayor is elected at-large in non-partisan elections for a two-year term. Aldermen candidates are elected at-large in non-partisan elections for staggered four-year terms.
