1. Community Engagement: I will continue to attend meetings and community forums to listen to people concerns, ideas, and suggestions. By fostering open communication and collaboration, we can build a stronger sense of community and address the specific needs of our city.

2. Affordable Housing: I will advocate for the development of affordable housing projects and continue to work towards promoting the City, while seeking the help of the Western Piedmont Council of Governments (WPCOG). Continue to promote the WPCOG and NC Housing Finance Agency (HFA)

I am honored to have served my community during my previous term on the council, and I am proud of the progress we have made together. Having fully and successfully completed the previous councilman vacant term, I feel a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to continue serving my community. This is why I have decided to seek re-election — to fulfill my own full term and to continue working diligently for the betterment of Hickory. I look forward to the opportunity to serve my fellow residents once again. I’m so very grateful for the community’s ongoing support to serve to the best of my ability.
