I’ve spent my life in service—of family, country, and community. A wife, mom, Harvard graduate, and U.S. Air Force veteran, I deployed in the Persian Gulf War, keeping aircrews safe. I spent 20+ years in the National Intelligence Community and USDA, advancing strategy, information sharing, and rural economic growth. I’ve volunteered as PTA Treasurer, HOA VP, and now chair Morrisville’s Parks, Rec & Cultural Resources Advisory Committee. I want to continue serving Morrisville on Town Council, keeping people safe, ensuring fiscal responsibility, and building a strong connected community.
Top 3 Issues: 1. Fiscal Responsibility, Taxes & Jobs: I’ll prioritize essential services, attract businesses that create jobs, pursue grants and partnerships to stretch tax dollars, and treat tax increases as a last resort to protect residents on fixed incomes. 2. Traffic & Infrastructure: Morrisville’s challenges require both traditional and innovative solutions, including road improvements, traffic light timing, and exploring future options like Intelligent Rail Transit and micro-mobility hubs, while leveraging greenways for safe, off-road movement. 3. Community Connection: I’ll enhance livability by supporting parks, greenways, and programs that bring neighbors together and benefit families, youth, and seniors.
Morrisville must live within its means while investing in infrastructure, safety*, and necessary community amenities. I’ll broaden our tax base by supporting local businesses, attracting quality employers, and fostering innovation to create jobs and ease financial pressure on residents. I’ll push for expanded access to state and county programs—like the Circuit Breaker tax deferment for lower-income and senior homeowners—to help residents stay in their homes while maintaining a strong, balanced town budget. I will encourage partnerships with new and existing businesses to offer incentives that support local college graduates and entrepreneurs, strengthening our economy and community for the long term. *Endorsed by Police Benevolent Assoc.
A strong and effective Town Council listens, collaborates, and makes informed decisions based on facts, research, and community input. I will approach every issue by gathering diverse perspectives, studying best practices, and exploring practical, innovative solutions that meet Morrisville’s unique needs. I value teamwork and collaboration. On Council, I will work along side Council members, Town staff, and regional partners to ensure coordinated, cost-effective approaches to shared challenges. Building long-term trust with residents, businesses, and colleagues is central to my approach, as is fostering transparency, accountability, and open communication. By combining thoughtful decision-making, strategic planning, and community engagement, we can address pressing issues while positioning Morrisville for continued excellence.

As a professionally licensed building design engineer, I work collaboratively with my colleagues to solve complex problems every day. That same kind of collaboration is what Morrisville needs as we deal with growth, traffic, and sustainability. I live the same daily frustrations as my neighbors: traffic congestion, non-existent sidewalks, and unreliable transit. I want to help Morrisville grow in a way that makes life easier and safer for everyone.
Sustainability, Transportation, and Community. If we want to reduce our traffic congestion, reduce our carbon emissions, and strengthen our community, we must prioritize pedestrian-oriented development. My first goal is to advocate for sustainable land-use policies that reduce car dependence, preserve trees and green space, and put people first. This will make alternative transportation options viable which will in turn reduce traffic congestion and carbon emissions and allow neighbors to meet at their local park or cafe instead of on the highway, thereby strengthening our community. This will also reduce our stress, increase our health, support local businesses, and make our streets safer for our youth and seniors.
I will advocate for a sustainable development code that ensures that every new project in Morrisville helps create a safe, accessible, and environmentally responsible community. Smart growth doesn’t mean spending more money; it means planning better. By focusing our infrastructure investments on walkable, bikeable, and transit-friendly development, we can save tax dollars, cut maintenance costs, and improve public safety. This approach will reduce our reliance on cars, protect green space, and make it easier and safer for everyone to move around Morrisville. We owe it to our youth and seniors who have been denied basic mobility for too long.
I’m running because I believe Morrisville can lead the way in building a sustainable, people-centered future. As both a building design engineer and a resident who walks, bikes, and rides our local transit, I see firsthand how design decisions affect our daily lives. My vision is a Morrisville where every resident can move safely, connect easily, and thrive in a community that values people as much as progress. By investing in thoughtful planning and sustainable infrastructure, we can lower transportation costs, improve health and safety, reduce environmental impact, and make our town an even better place to live, work, and raise a family. Together, we can create a more perfect Morrisville.
