TOWN OF LIBERTY MAYOR
The Town of Liberty s Charter prescribes the Council/Manager Form of Government consisting of a policy making electorate and a Town Manager and town employees. The elected policy making element include the Mayor and five Council Members. The Mayor of Liberty is elected at-large in non-partisan elections every two years to serve a two-year term. The Town Council members are elected at-large in non-partisan elections to serve staggered four-year terms. The Town Manager is hired by the Town Council and leads the Town employees in managing the day-to-day operations of the town.
