TOWN OF CHAPEL HILL MAYOR
The Mayor is elected at-large in non-partisan elections for a two-year term in the years between national elections.The eight Council members are elected at-large in non-partisan elections for staggered four-year terms.The Mayor, together with the Board of Aldermen, provides leadership in achieving goals that reflect the values and needs of the community. The Mayor publishes special proclamations on the Town of Carrboro s Your Government web site.
