Professionally, I serve as the Director of Military Sales for Kellanova (formerly Kellogg’s), where I manage complex operations, budgets, and relationships across a global network. This role has sharpened my skills in strategic planning, fiscal responsibility, and collaborative leadership—skills I’ll bring to the town board. Locally, I’m a member of the Emerald Isle Planning Board, where I’ve worked on issues related to growth, infrastructure, and community development. I also co-own Ocean Breeze Lawn and Pool, a small business that keeps me connected to the day-to-day needs of residents and fellow entrepreneurs.

These experiences give me a well-rounded perspective and a practical understanding of how to balance long-term planning.
First, preserving our Family Beach identity through family-friendly events and community traditions while being a champion of coastal resilience and environmental stewardship we protect our beautiful beaches. Second, promoting future-ready infrastructure—smart investments in roads, storm water systems, and public spaces that prepare us for tomorrow while protecting our small town charm. Third, practicing fiscal responsibility by ensuring transparency, accountability, and wise use of taxpayer dollars.
My goal is to create a strategic framework that clearly outlines what I want to accomplish in collaboration with the other board members. This framework will serve as a roadmap for our shared priorities—whether it's infrastructure, environmental stewardship, public engagement, or fiscal responsibility—and ensure we stay focused and accountable.

To be effective, we must take a collaborative, informative, and open-minded approach. That means listening to each other, respecting differing viewpoints, and making decisions based on facts, community input, and long-term impact. I believe in transparency, clear communication, and building consensus—not just among board members, but with the residents we serve.

By working together with intention and integrity, we can move Emerald Isle forward while preserving the values and character that make it so special. I am here to listen, to lean and to lead with you. I am excited for what we can build together. I hope to earn your vote in November.
Position/philosophy statement Public service has always been more than a responsibility to me—it’s a calling. From working in local government to serving alongside neighbors in civic organizations, collaboration, transparency, and thoughtful decision making improve our community.

Thirty-eight years service (thirty-three Emerald Isle), have given me first-hand knowledge of how municipal operations and associated budgets work. I have a proven history of listening, addressing concerns and following through on solutions.
Communication-Keep ALL residents informed, be accessible and welcome as a part of the process. Track neighborhood challenges with practical and community focused solutions.

Consensus Building-Work with diverse groups to find common ground and strengthen trust.

Strategic Planning-Make thoughtful, long-term decisions on infrastructure and growth while maintaining our heritage and natural beauty.
Insuring that all taxpayers are kept informed of the actual facts within the local government decision making process is a priority. Inviting citizens to reach out to local staff and officials to discuss their concerns and invite them to be a part of the solution.
As your commissioner, I focus on fiscal responsibility, smart infrastructure, and responsive services that meet everyday needs. I believe in open, accountable and transparent government guided by listening first and protecting the character of our community for ALL stakeholders. My priorities are simple: use tax dollars wisely, keep roads, the beach strand, our estuary shoreline, and public spaces safe and healthy. We must support our local businesses and strengthen tourism, our community's economic lifeline. Maintain open communication so every resident feels informed and included. Guide balance growth that protects the character of our community.

I am honored to serve as your commissioner and will continue working to insure EVERY voice is heard, every resource is manage carefully and every decision helps make our town an even better place to live, play, work and call home.
