The governing body consists of a Mayor and five Commissioners, all elected at-large in non-partisan elections. The Mayor, elected to a two-year term and only votes in the case of a tie, is the presiding officer at meetings of the Town Board. The Commissioners are elected to four-year staggered terms.

With over 30 years of leadership experience in corporate America, service on the school board, HOA boards, and years of volunteer work with organizations like the Salvation Army, Relay for Life, Fire and Rescue Volunteer and local churches to name a few. I bring a proven record of accountability, collaboration, and problem-solving. These skills, combined with a lifelong commitment to serving others, uniquely prepare me to lead our community as mayor and ensure every voice is heard.
1. Ensuring openness and transparency in all council actions, while encouraging council members to vote based on their own judgment and the best interests of the community, not simply following my lead.
2.Expanding basic services for residents—such as trash and yard debris pickup—while also investing in community-building activities like town festivals that give taxpayers a real return on their dollars.
3.Revising the town’s noise ordinance so it aligns with the county’s rules, ensuring that residents and businesses can host outdoor music without unnecessary permits as long as they remain within county guidelines.
Once elected, I will address this by holding regular public forums, publishing clear summaries of council agendas and decisions, and encouraging open dialogue with residents before key votes. All Town Council meetings will be Live-streamed over the internet. I will also make sure council members have the independence to vote their conscience, guided by the needs of our community, rather than pressure to simply follow my position.
Together, these priorities reflect my commitment to building a town government that is transparent, responsive, and focused on serving the people. By increasing openness in council decisions, improving basic services, and creating fair, commonsense policies, we can strengthen our community and make it a place where residents and businesses thrive. As mayor, I will work every day to ensure your tax dollars are well spent, your voices are heard, and our town continues to grow with pride and purpose.
