Our city faces key challenges that require strong leadership. Financial responsibility is crucial—taxpayers deserve transparency and accountable spending. I’ll push for open financial reporting and responsible budgeting. Economic development is also vital; we must attract businesses, support small entrepreneurs, and invest in job growth. Neighborhood revitalization is key to a thriving community—I’ll support infrastructure improvements, address blight, and promote homeownership. With accountability and transparency, we can build a stronger, more prosperous city.
I plan to work with local organizations, developers, and government agencies to expand access to affordable housing through incentives for responsible development and the rehabilitation of existing properties. Additionally, I will advocate for policies that protect tenants from unjust evictions while ensuring landlords have the support they need to maintain safe and quality housing. Addressing homelessness requires a collaborative effort that includes not just shelter, but also mental health services, job training programs, and substance abuse support.
