I'm not sure how to answer this question. I believe that each Clerk of Courts in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts faces their own unique set of challenges based upon the needs of their county. Nantucket County is located 26 miles out to sea, which presents challenges that other counties may not necessarily face. Whereas, other counties face challenges that we may not ever face here on Nantucket Island.
To serve all of the residents of Nantucket County that seek assistance and provide them with equal access to justice.
I'm proud of the experience that I have gained working with and for the people of Nantucket in the Clerk's office for over 10 years.
I believe that the current Clerk of Courts has run the office very well. If elected, I will strive to keep the bar as high as she has set it. I will continue to be open to and look for new and different ways that I, too, can best serve the people of Nantucket County.
