I am passionate about women's reproductive rights because we should not have government or church in our uteruses. I am passionate about education and believe our kids deserve the best education possible. I will advocate for increased funding for public schools, increase teacher pay and reject vouchers. I am also passionate about affordable health care for our citizens.
A top priority for legislature would be to reevaluate school vouchers and teacher pay for Missouri. I would work to get the teacher pay increase fully funded in Missouri and vote against school vouchers. Vouchers are more harmful to the education system; they allow the wealthier to gain access to charter and private schools which is a privilege, not a right.
