Dane County is in the process of building a new Election Center to house equipment, ballots, poll books, and all other materials associated with elections. The new facility will provide a safe environment for staff, help municipal clerk securely store election materials, and cut down on open record request redundancy.
Dane County is providing marriage licenses online statewide. Begun during COVID, we are now able to provide everyone, including those who speak Spanish, a quick and easy option to obtain a license. The volume has allowed us to be more efficient with our staff and generate more revenue for the County.
