I would work toward making my court more efficient so the litigants could have a resolution in a timely manner. The biggest complaint I hear from constituents is that court cases take way too long. Once on the bench, I would work to come up with solutions to encourage quick but fair justice.
In 27 years, I have practiced many types of law. Having experience on both sides of issues will help me be open-minded and able to hear both sides. I am patient and reasonable. I am even-tempered. And, while my experience has provided knowledge, I am willing to ensure justice by taking the time to research matters rather than making uninformed decisions.
