I am very passionate about women's rights, particularly reproductive rights. I am a longtime supporter of Planned Parenthood. One of my main goals is to work to keep the government out of health care altogether for any reason. Health care needs to be improved and available for everyone at affordable costs.
My top priority is rights regarding health care. I will support a bill that keeps the government out of personal health care decisions made between a person and their physician.

As a former Rockwood student and father of two young children, I’m passionate about improving education. Expanding options to all students and focusing funding into the classroom will improve access to quality education. I’m also passionate about fairer taxation. In my first term I sponsored major tax relief legislation for seniors and consumers.
State spending has more than doubled in the last 10 years. This leads to inflation and more red tape for students, business owners and taxpayers. We reduced spending over my first term but we need to do more. I will sponsor a taxpayer bill of rights that puts voters in control of all new taxes and spending hikes.
