Fully funding public schools. In my 34 years as a principal in Liberty Missouri the foundation formula was never fully funded in all categories. This has created a constant downward movement in terms of beginning teacher salary, average teacher salary and truly adequate support for public school while putting money into a quasi voucher system and charter schooling that remove dollars from public schooling. First responders need adequate health care especially due to the cancers they develop due to the dangerous conditions in which they work. Prevailing wage is a necessity and needs to be enforced It is not adequately enforced at this time and it is hurting working families Womens health care rights must be restored. The current trajectory aside from the Initiative Petition is to take complete control of womens bodies by legislators and criminalizing proper medical care and support. This is immoral regardless of the any stand on abortion.

ASide from the Initiative petition work. I intend to work very hard to fully fund the foundation formula and to block any more deterioration of the public school system by charter and quasi voucher (Mo Scholar) acts. We must get the public system back on track to be our premier learning system that it can be. The talent is there. We need to support it and develop it even further.
