Incumbent? YES or NO No
Housing - I have experienced homelessness and am now a homeowner in District 19 so I know the struggles on every side of this issue.

Safety - I am a Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate. Between street racing and nightly gun violence our District needs strong advocates for our community.

Healthcare/Abortion/Contraception Access and bodily autonomy - I am endorsed by Planned Parenthood Great Plains Votes for my commitment to this issue, collecting over 150 signatures for the abortion access initiative petition through our campaign and regularly volunteering as a clinic escort.

LGBTQ and women's rights- I am endorsed by PROMO Missouri and have advocated for our rights my whole life. Education - I am a librarian who has been fighting book bans and we have distributed thousands of books out to the community. I will fiercely advocate for youth and schools. Immigration - The diversity of our district is one of our great strengths. I will work to protect all members of our community.
Our politicians have not done enough to protect our communities. We have to stop just playing defense and start powerfully advocating for our community on issues like common sense gun regulation and bodily autonomy. We have to move the conversation further. I am passionate about policy, thoroughly research my positions, and have several experts around me to advise me on the issues our community cares about. I will engage our community, encourage new voters, and bring in diverse voices to draw attention to these issues. I'm from rural Missouri, so I know how to talk to conservatives and plan to work across the aisle where I am able. I will continue my record of service to our community year-round, be accessible to listen to my constituents, and treat this as a full-time job. I will work to explain the legislative process and get more people involved in the democratic process. I love this community, I am driven for progressive policy, and I want to represent our community well.
