I am running for re-election to continue my work of improving economic opportunities for working men and women, enhancing greater access and affordability to health care, and improving our countries housing stock to name a few priorities.
Once re-elected I will continue to be a leader in housing related issues as either the Chairman or Ranking Member of the Insurance and Housing Sub-Committee of the Financial Services Committee in the U.S. House of Representatives.

I ant to help solve the major problems facing our nation and our local community. These include the divisive nature of political discourse, violence reduction and the economic opportunity for all members of our community.
For public safety, I believe we urgently need a federal program to help encourage young men and women to join the law enforcement community. We face a crisis in this area of staffing shortages and reduced interest in law enforcement as a career. A federal effort to recruit, train and equip new police recruits is desperately needed and I will propose legislation to help reduce the nationwide shortage of officers.
I want to give voters a rational choice - someone who is neither a MAGA Republican nor a woke Democrat. I believe in the principles of the Declaration of Independence and the rights enshrined in and protected by the Constitution,
My priority is individual rights and limited government. I will analyze each issue and bill for its effect on each,and speak and vote accordingly.
