I have both the education and the hands-on experience necessary to be a Platte County Commissioner.

I have lived in Platte County for over 16 years and have been very active in the community. I served on the Union Chapel PTA Board for many years, and then the Thousand Oaks Homeowner’s Association Board. I then served on the City of Parkville Planning and Zoning Commission for 4 years before being elected as an Alderwoman in 2023.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and an MBA in Finance. I worked in a corporate setting for over 20 years and now run my own small business. I volunteer with local swim teams, school committees, and at a variety of community events.

I am a servant leader, committed to the betterment of Platte County, the Northland, and greater Kansas City. I have an in-depth understanding of the issues facing Platte County and the experience required to address them effectively.
I pledge to work collaboratively with local law enforcement agencies to provide them with the support and resources they need to effectively carry out their duties.

I will advocate for policies that promote economic development, attract investment, and create opportunities for small businesses to thrive in Platte County. I will also prioritize infrastructure projects that improve transportation and other essential services for residents and businesses.

I am committed to ensuring that county resources are allocated efficiently and transparently to meet the needs of residents while maintaining fiscal discipline.

I have a strong record of leadership and service. I have master's degrees in business administration and management from Avila University. I have spent over 20 years working in healthcare and the nonprofit sector and chaired various local, regional, and national boards over the last several years.
We need integrity, transparency, and accountability in county governance. We cannot continue to elect people who do not want to govern for everyone in Platte County. We must solve the jail overcrowding problem. We need to renovate and expand the current facility. We also need to only housed people who need to be in jail. We need to raise the county bond rating from "junk status". This will take fiscal responsibly of our county finances. We must support local school districts. Our great schools are what drives our growth. We need support our local business by promoting economic development that maintains the neighborly charm and appeal of the county. We need to develop a vision for the next 10 to 20 years that deals with transportation, housing, public safety, safe roads, trails, and parks. We must engage the whole community and work with our municipalities and neighboring counties to make it possible.
