I want to serve in the House of Representatives because I want to make Kentucky the best version of itself for us, our children and future generation. It is time for a change! I believe that I am the most qualified candidate to represent District 56 because of my education and experience as a community leader. I currently serve as a Versailles City Council Member and have served as a Commissioner of the Versailles-Midway-Woodford County Planning & Zoning Commission for five years. I have also served over nine years on the Site-Base Decision Making Council, on the Housing Affordable & Attainable Taskforce, I was Chair of the Human Rights Commission and currently serve on the Board of Directors for the City of Versailles Public Properties Corporation. I am knowledgeable in all aspects of government and believe I can truly make a difference through my servant leadership. I am ready to give a new meaning to the word politics in the Commonwealth.
I would support giving additional funding to public school teachers to ensure that students from Pre-School age through 12th grade have classroom resources and supplies and that teachers will not have to come out of their pockets to provide learning materials for their students. This will also help ensure students have access to a quality education. I would also be in support of teachers receiving the raises they deserve and have already earned.

I would support cost of living adjustment for state retirees. I would advocate for additional funding for first responders such as paramedics and EMT’s who have not been given raises and they risk their lives everyday to save others.
I would support tax reform measures that would not take money away from public schools, but would also protect small businesses and critical care services. I would support clean energy jobs that would generate tax revenues and support economic growth and a sustainable environment.
I would support legislation for sensible gun regulations by requiring individuals to have two forms of proper identifications and a thorough background check that would exclude those with a violent criminal history, domestic abuse and those with mental health issues. Individuals would be required to register their guns as well as receive conceal and carry training. I am not a supporter of assault weapons. Parents should held responsible for children under the age of eighteen having access to guns and committing violent crimes.
I would absolutely support a constitutional amendment that restores voting rights to felons once they have completed their sentences. Everyone deserves a second chance in life and what better way to acclimate them back into society by restoring their 1st amendment rights to free speech and having the ability to vote. It will aid in restoring their dignity and pride that they now have the freedom to make a choice regarding their stance on issues that ultimately affect them.
I believe that government does not have a right to tell women what they should do with their bodies. I also believe that there should be exceptions to abort laws such rape, incest, nonviable pregnancies and serious health complications for the mother. I am a supporter of Hadley’s Law.
