Education would be a top priority. Improving education should be about empowering families, ensuring accountability, and providing our children with the skills they need to succeed in the modern economy.

I support school choice because parents should have the right to decide where their children get the best education, whether it’s a public, charter, private, or homeschooling option. By expanding school vouchers and supporting education savings accounts, we can give families more control over their children's education and encourage schools to improve through healthy competition.

Not every student needs to go to a four-year college to succeed. I will push for expanding vocational and technical education in high schools, giving students access to hands-on training in trades like manufacturing, healthcare, and information technology. We can offer apprenticeships and certifications that provide real-world skills and lead to good-paying union jobs right here in Indiana.
We can support jobs and industry while improving the quality of our air and water by focusing on innovation, responsible regulation, and local decision-making.

We don’t have to choose between jobs and the environment. By incentivizing private-sector innovation in clean energy and technology, we can create new opportunities for businesses to grow while reducing emissions and improving our air and water quality. Whether it’s investing in carbon capture, renewable energy, or more efficient manufacturing processes, industries can modernize and stay competitive while becoming more environmentally responsible.

I believe in smart regulations that protect our environment without strangling businesses in red tape. We can achieve environmental goals by making regulations clear and predictable, giving businesses the certainty they need to invest in new technologies while still meeting high environmental standards.
I believe we must focus on strengthening cybersecurity, combatting AI-generated misinformation, ensuring transparency, and updating election laws.

We must prioritize investment in cybersecurity measures to protect our election systems from AI-driven cyberattacks. This includes securing voter registration databases, voting machines, and election reporting systems. Working with private cybersecurity firms and government agencies like the Department of Homeland Security, we can implement cutting-edge defenses to guard against hacking and disinformation campaigns.

AI has the potential to create and spread false information rapidly. To combat this, we need to work closely with social media platforms to identify and remove AI-generated misinformation that could mislead voters or disrupt election processes. At the same time, we must uphold free speech rights, ensuring that efforts to counter misinformation are transparent and focused on protecting voters’ access to accurate information.

Promoting equity in education means ensuring that every student, regardless of background, has access to high-quality educational opportunities. This can be achieved through school choice, local control, and targeted support for underperforming schools.

One of the most effective ways to promote equity is through school choice. Parents should have the freedom to choose the best educational environment for their children, whether it’s a public, charter, private, or homeschooling option.

Not all students will follow the same path, and that’s why we need to expand vocational and technical education in our schools.

I believe that local school boards and communities are in the best position to make decisions about their students’ education.

We must provide targeted resources to schools that are struggling, particularly in low-income or rural areas. This doesn’t mean throwing money at the problem, but rather offering incentives for innovation.
Improving mental health in Lake County, for both adults and youth, requires a multi-faceted approach that prioritizes access to care, community-based solutions, and reducing stigma around mental health issues.

We must ensure that residents have access to quality mental health care. This means supporting policies that increase funding for local mental health clinics and services while ensuring that these services are available in both urban and rural areas.

Telemedicine offers a critical solution for expanding access to mental health care, particularly for those in underserved or remote areas.

I will advocate for mental health education in schools, helping students and families recognize the signs of mental illness and encouraging them to seek support early.

I will push for expanded mental health training for police officers and emergency responders, so they are better equipped to handle situations involving individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.
My focus is on empowering individuals, strengthening communities, and ensuring government works effectively for the people. I believe that with the right policies, we can create an environment where businesses thrive, families prosper, and our children receive the education they deserve.

I believe in the power of individual freedom and local control. Decisions about education, health care, and how to grow our communities should be made by the people closest to them, not by distant bureaucrats. As your representative, I will fight to ensure that power remains with the people of District 2, allowing us to make decisions that reflect our values and priorities.

My vision is one of economic opportunity, strong communities, and individual empowerment. I’m committed to working for the people of District 2 to ensure that everyone has the chance to succeed and that our region continues to thrive for generations to come. I
