The Central Committee is responsible for recruiting, endorsing, and campaigning for candidates at all levels. Looking forward, we must support strong candidates who share our community values and can win in this changing political landscape.
We need seasoned campaign strategists with a strong ability to identify, communicate with, and persuade a shifting electorate. I've spent several years working with local, county, and statewide elected officials on both legislative affairs and campaign operations. I've developed strong political communication skills, built a wide Republican network, and gained a deep knowledge of how to run and win challenging campaigns. These are the skills I'll bring as our representative to the Central Committee.
The most important planks in the Republican platform are our support for limited government and individual liberty. As more people move into Delaware County - especially young independents who are disenchanted with both parties - we must be diligent in our efforts to reach out to these new voters by highlighting our shared values, and inviting them into our Republican fold rather than writing them off entirely.
The ability to build strong voting coalitions as demographics change over time is critical to the long-term success of any political party. I want to spearhead our efforts within the Central Committee to build bridges to the young professionals moving into our community, growing the reach, appeal, and strength of our county party.
