Husband Michael, a Mechanical Engineer who works in the IT business. Son, Jack (age 20)is a sophomore at The Ohio State University ATI studying Agriculture Business and Agronomy. Daughter, Emily (age 18) is a senior at Buckeye Valley High School and will attend The Ohio State University (main campus) studying Marketing in the fall.
Work Experience
I've spent the past 31 years working for Delaware County. I've served in many leadership positions with the Juvenile and Probate Court and with the Board of Commissioners. I currently serve as Deputy County Administrator with the Board of Commissioners. In this position, I oversee several County departments including, Human Resources, benefits, workers' compensation, insurance and risk, the Dog Warden's office, the County's Records Center, Job and Family Services and the Child Support Enforcement Agency.
Affiliations
I am currently a Buckeye Valley Athletic Association volunteer and I assist with fund raising for the Buckeye Valley Girls Basketball program. Other activities include: former president and 12 year board member for the Ohio Public Employer Labor Relations Association, former Buckeye Valley Facilities Advisory Team, former Brown Township Zoning Clerk and Zoning Appeals Clerk.
I have represented Brown Township as its Republican Central Committee representative for the past eight years.
A Brown Township resident for the past 35 years, I moved to Brown Township from neighboring Oxford Township where I grew up on my family's grain farm that continues to operate today.
I am a fifth generation Brown Township resident where my family has deep roots in the farming community. I love the rural and safe nature of our beautiful township in growing Delaware County and value to maintain our rural, quite farming community.
I am a lifetime community supporter of conservative Republican values. I will ensure that we maintain Brown Township as the best location for our families to live, work and play.
I strongly believe that as a member of our Republican Central Committee, we must continually be aware of, fight for and support Constitutional principles, limited government and our God given freedoms for our families and those we serve.
I will balance the needs and values of those I serve which will always take precedent at every level and at all times.
I am well connected with our local Republican leaders and our residents. These well established relationships will continue to provide an effective avenue to liaison and communicate with those that can make a difference. I will work diligently to recommend, endorse and support the Republicans who will make the best and most cost effective decisions for our community.
