Build up the Sheriff's office which the current commissioners have withheld funding from, but not at the expense of annexing county land or incorporated areas into city limits without the affected residents voting for the change.

I will promote education and opportunities to learn technical trades at Klamath Falls Community College and degree programs at Oregon Institute of Technology (OIT) to combat the shortage of construction workers, well drillers, and chiefs. I will to bring in manufacturing and tech jobs, like ammunition loaders and industries which can utilize the efficiencies of the railroad.

I will work to cut the red tape and fees for developers and home builders.
I have 32 years of experience working with educators, healthcare executives, governments leaders, and faith-based NGO's in 45 countries. I'm an entrepreneur, certified project management professional, Oregon general contractor, and licensed Oregon insurance agent. See my work experience at Linkedin.com/in/toddgessele.

I am the best candidate for County Commissioner #3 as I bring my global business acumen and perspective as a first-time politician citizen with no ties to special interests, or outside groups.
I would work to cut red tape on permits and prevent the city of KF from taking water from the County aquifers and selling the water back to the subdivisions. I am against annexing county land into cities as it reduces the County's tax base and $$$ for the Sheriff's office.

We need builders to build more 1300 to 2000 square foot homes which are designed to last. More multi-family zoning and in areas not adjacent to a city, the county should put in small wastewater treatment plants, that create type-A drinking water for wildfire control and irrigation. Farmland should be protected, and any solar panels installed over land or on home roofs should be bonded to be removed in 25 years at the time of permitting.
