To chart a prosperous path forward for the Village of Freeville and help address concerns the village will face with some of its municipal operations in the near future.
I've served on the Freeville Planning Board since 2024, helping to revise the village's Land Use Development Code, and have worked in conjunction with the current village government in that capacity.
There are updates to the village's sewer system that will need to be addressed, along with future developments within the village. In addition, there are nacent industries that may want to locate in or use village resources that we need to think about carefully.
I feel that the village residents should be aware of the necessary updates that are needed in the village, and perhaps a village newsletter or a monthly report may be useful for residents. Also, residents may need a primer on current sewer operations, the necessary upgrades, the actions the village has currently taken, actions in progress, and possible impacts to residents.
As stated above, perhaps a village newsletter or some form of regular communications of village issues can be launched, and with my communications and marketing background, I'd be willing to take this effort on.
