I can proudly state that I am a 4th generation resident of the La Crosse area. After high school (Central), I entered the military. I served 4 years in the US Air Force and 21 years in the US Army, As a Medic in the Army I was placed into leadership positions, and three times I held the position of First Sergeant. After retirement, I worked for Gerrard-Hoeschler as a Broker. In the 14 years with GH, I held the title of President of the Realtors Association and President of Habitat for Humanity. This is my second term as 3rd District Alderman City of Onalaska.
Redesign/construction of the Senior Center.

Help the Council develop and maintain the yearly budget that we voted in this year.

Support and advise the different department heads in the Onalaska City government.
Currently, I am a member of the Park & Rec committee and the subcommittee for the design of the new Senior Center. We meet weekly with the design developer to share the desires of the team.

From October through December, all counsel members and department heads worked long hours to develop a budget that we could support. As a group, we reduced the budget request by 9 million dollars. Now we have a surplus in the budget and we are currently working on a plan to utilize these additional funds.

This year we interviewed and selected a new City Administrator. With the filling of this position, communication, guidance, and advice are much more effective.
