I serve as the PTO President at Irving Pertzsch and I hold my masters degree in business administration. Additionally, I pride myself on being resourceful, dedicated, a proficient problem solver, and I consistently demonstrate a strong work ethic

Updating city ordinances Supporting volunteers Bringing our community together

I will work with various departments to update several city ordinances, including permanently changing our alternate-side winter parking ordinance. I will also work closely with our community to support our volunteers and ensure we are meeting the community’s expectations.

Experience and leadership. I have lived in Onalaska for 32 years, which has given me the opportunity to meet many residents and has given me great insight into their everyday needs. I have served on the Onalaska Common Council for 12 years. I have also continuously served Onalaska on either a committee, commission, board, or the Onalaska Common Council since 2000. Because of my high level of dedication, I attend committee meetings even while not a member in order to be well-prepared. I have also served in many corners of the Onalaska community (i.e., Onalaska Schools' Food Pantry founder, Onalaska schools' PTA and PTO, City of Onalaska Plan Commission and Swimming Pool Committee, to name a few). I have also served as the Onalaska Common Council President for four years, being voted for by my peers. I dedicate myself every day to effective government by representing those who need to be represented. I am not afraid to make tough decisions that are good for all of Onalaska.

The City of Onalaska is in a very good position as my priorities have been to support healthy growth and economic development. Maintaining reliable city services and quality infrastructure that Onalaskans have come to expect and improving the quality of life for them, as well as being responsible with taxpayer dollars, is always a high priority for me. We also need to build a new community center and meet the demand for a columbarium in our city cemetery.

As someone who has served on and chaired both the Board of Public Works and Finance and Personnel Committee for the City of Onalaska, I will continue to champion the need to continue to support our infrastructure and maintain the great services the City of Onalaska provides to its citizens. With careful budgetary planning, the City of Onalaska looks to start building a new community center within one year. I will also strongly advocate to include in our 2025 capital improvements budget a columbarium addition to the city cemetery.
