Tuscarawas County Coroner
The county coroner is elected to a four-year term. It is considered a part-time job. The county coroner’s chief responsibility is to investigate any deaths in the county that are considered unusual, unexpected, or suspicious. Additional responsibilities include:establishing the identity of the deceasednotifying the next of kin of the deceased in a timely fashionsafeguarding personal possessions found with the deceased2025 Salary: $54,570
