Tuscarawas County Commissioner

County Commissioners serve as the general administrative body for Tuscarawas County. There are three county commissioners, each of whom serve a four-year term. Their responsibilities include, but are not limited to: conducting hearings on county projects and accepting bids for the work on those projects appointing citizens to serve on boards for county services, such as the Council on Aging and the Convention and Visitors Bureau maintaining and insuring county properties and assets working with municipal bodies within Tuscarawas county on areas of common concern working with leaders of various fields to attract more jobs to the county serving on regional and state boards, such as Children and Family First Council and Stark-Tuscarawas-Wayne Solid Waste District maintaining a balanced budget for Tuscarawas County2025 Salary: $73,606
