I have practiced law for 26+ years, primarily representing employees, including victims of discrimination, retaliation, and harassment. Also, as president of my neighborhood’s Community Council I led an effort to desegregate our elementary school.
1. To ensure attorneys practicing before me fulfill their obligations, I will lead by example and cultivate a reputation as a hard-working, well-prepared, and conscientious judge;
2. To advocate for more transparency in criminal sentencing, so that this information is readily available to both the public and fellow judges; and
3. I am committed to being a judge who makes fair and just rulings that also serve the public interest, including ensuring the safety of our community.
