Town Meeting is Brookline s Legislative arm of government. It consists of 255 elected Town Meeting Members plus the members of the Select Board, and any state representative or state senator who resides in Brookline. In addition, the Town Moderator, who presides over Town Meeting, and the elected Town Clerk, who acts as secretary, are voting members. The 255 membersare elected by precinct, with 15 members elected from each of the Town s seventeen precincts. The members are elected for staggered, 3-year terms so that 5 members are elected from each precinct each year in the May annual town election. I am a 30+ year resident of Brookline and father of 3. Two of my children currently attend the Brookline public schools. I have a BS Civil Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from Boston College. I currently am employed as a credit officer at a commercial bank. As a former Town Meeting Member in Precinct 13, my work focused on maintenance of household rights, responsible budgeting, thoughtful planning and zoning through community engagement. I am also a supporter of Brookline Youth Hockey and strongly support the development of a new rink in town.
As a town meeting meeting member my primary responsibility is to represent the precinct's interests in maintaining the quality of life and public safety of the precinct. As a former TMM, I understand the responsibility to listen thoughtfully to all constituents and maintain open lines of communications (phone and email) at all times.

I am a Brookline educator, proud union member, and renter running to represent Precinct 13 at Brookline's Town Meeting. I serve as a member of the Naming Committee and the Commission for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Community Relations, which I chair. I am committed to public education, fully funded Town services, affordable housing, transit accessibility, environmental justice, civic engagement, and support for Brookline seniors.

I found my way to Brookline by chance, starting as a student teacher in our public school system. I quickly fell in love with Brookline and have since remained in the district, first as a paraprofessional and now as a middle school teacher.

Town Meeting Members are elected to represent the interests of their precinct at Town Meeting. If elected, I will represent the interests of Precinct 13. I will be a thoughtful partner with the other Town Meeting Members in the precinct and expand on existing relationships with members of town government and town departments in order to best represent the precinct.

I believe in frequent communication. This includes a physical presence at community events in Precinct 13 and Brookline at large. In addition, I have an "open door" policy for Precinct 13 residents to contact me. I can be reached via email anytime at kevin4brookline@gmail.com. Constituents can also text or call me at 617-651-1808.
