Ohioans deserve to grow and thrive throughout their lifespan including funding universal public pre-K for children, improving career pathways through apprenticeships and community colleges, and ensuring seniors can stay in their home despite rising health care and property taxes. I believe in supporting the growing workforce with dignified wages, affordable housing, and access to healthcare.
I support early voting, absentee ballots and if ever allowed, and automatic voter registration like Selective Service requirements. If you are a citizen, you should be able to vote.
Ohio is doing a tremendous job funding vocational skills training to meet the new job opportunities and economic growth. The state and local government can promote opportunities by creating conditions for Public/Private partnerships to increase economic growth and affordable housing for employees and communities.

Students deserve individualized attention to address growing challenges of food insecurity, unstable housing, mental health needs. To keep qualified educators, the pay must be commensurate with the workload and position expectations. Public education should be equally funded to meet these growing challenges and to be a competitive employer.
The state should check local government to ensure local laws are consistent with state policies and laws. The state should also intervene when there are financial issues that may limit the local office to complete its duties.
Healthcare is right to which all individuals in the richest country in the world should have affordable access. Individuals should be able to make their own health decisions based on the recommendations of medical professionals. In my work with people with disabilities, I witnessed the benefit of Medicaid expansion in improving the health outcomes for people.
Future generations should have access to clean air, clean water, and clean energy employment. Reenacting renewable energy targets could make Ohio competitive in the clean energy revolution.
The government can create and revise laws and policies to ensure that all people are represented in the community systems and the existing power systems. The work continues in the public and private sector to ensure equity and access to those systems for all individuals.
