Training and Experience Owens Corning. Gelia. The Raytheon Company. The Heritage Foundation. The European Parliament. The Conservative Party.

Economy: Hard-working families and local businesses deserve an economy that works for them, not one based on legislation bought-and-paid-for by the deepest pockets.

Children: I will defend kids and put families first. Kids should have educational options that maximizes their potential. Parents should be empowered, not politicians.

Public Safety: I will always stand with law enforcement to keep our communities safe, and protect our second amendment rights.

Conservative values: I will defend the most vulnerable, protect our liberties, resist unscientific mandates, and fight for families.
Voting needs to be secure and safe. Election integrity really matters. Having knocked on several thousand doors this election, many voters are worried about electoral fraud. I support voter ID laws; I oppose ballot harvesting; and I support limiting drop boxes.
I am a limited government conservative, and the economy thrives when the government mostly gets out of the way. Government can easily stifle the economy with overbearing regulations, and out-of-control spending increases inflation. Ergo, I support government repealing regulations; making it easier to get a job through occupational licensing reform for example; and making Ohio a better place to do business. Focusing on improved outcomes in education will help, including career tech. Government does have a role in providing better transport infrastructure across the State. We are not served by a decent international airport for example.
My aspiration for all levels of education is for students to maximize their potential. All children should have educational opportunities to thrive whether that be in vocational education, special education, public, private or home school. Every child is unique and deserves to be treated so. Parents have a crucial role to play in ensuring their child’s education is meeting their needs.
In general, I support the principle of subsidiarity - making decisions at the most local level possible. Of course, there are areas where that’s simply not feasible or desirable. For example, attracting a major international employer like Intel requires an all-hands-on-deck approach with a strong leader. Building a world-class airport would need the same. I do believe that the complexity of local/municipal taxation is very bad for Ohio. One person can often be required to complete multiple tax filings requiring expensive preparation. This is something we should address.
We need a healthcare system that reduces cost and expands choice. Prescription drug prices are much too high and Ohioans need reliable, high quality care. Healthcare costs could easily be a defining issue in the next decade, both for families and government.
I take an all-of-the-above approach to energy, which is especially smart in Ohio where we have abundant natural resources as well as a strong renewables sector. I do not support coal subsidies going out-of-state which is still happening as a result of House Bill 6 - the most corrupt bill in Ohio’s history. I would never have voted for HB6 which was a $1.3 billion corporate bailout cosponsored by Rep. Haraz Ghanbari. HB6 should be fully repealed.
As a naturalized American, my commitment to constitutionally-protected rights is unequivocal. The 14th amendment gives the government the power to ensure all our citizens are protected. No one should be targeted with bigotry and xenophobia because they're a legal immigrant to this country.
