PROTECT OHIO FROM FEDERAL OVERREACH ⬜ Restrict jurisdiction of Federal Agencies and Departments ⬜ Ohio will no longer recognize the authority of the ATF ⬜ Sever ties between the Ohio Department of Health and the CDC ⬜ Remove influence from the US Department of Education ⬜ Ban CBDC and ESG | GROW OHIO BY LEVERAGING THE PRIVATE MARKET ⬜ Repeal regulation that stunts entrepreneurial opportunities and small business growth ⬜ Support the promotion of a localized supply chain where Ohio businesses support Ohio manufacturers first. | RETIREMENT OHIO ⬜ Maintain an affordable cost of living ⬜ Introduce Allodial title - No more property taxes once your primary residence is paid off.
I support an open primary and rank choice voting.

Ohio declaration of party affiliation could still remain the same, all registered voters would get the same ballot for their district. Voters would then rank each candidate based on knowledge of the candidates or candidate party affiliation.

Rank choice voting promotes more educated voting but still allows for voters to choose based on Political Party Affiliation.

Open ballots make primaries a fair playing field for major party, minor party, and independent candidates.

The top 3 to 5 candidates from the primary ballot would then move on to the General Election. This would be dependent on position of Government.

Also... You must be a US Citizen to vote or hold office.
Repeal regulation that stunts entrepreneurial opportunities and small business growth. Promote Ohio's skilled labor workforce.
K-12 needs a complete overhaul. We base our current system off the JD Rockefeller education system. This system was designed to instill discipline, obedience, and punctuality. The grading and testing systems are designed to pump out laborers and tax payers that don't question the authority of their employer or the State.

It is imperative that we do away with standardized testing. I propose we look into modernizing equine era education.

Higher education is too expensive. New technologies should be lowering tuition and increasing ease of access. Instead, we are seeing ever increasing cost. I would like to see a higher education Khan Academy that forces Universities and Colleges to reevaluate their current model.

Also... Ban CRT
State Government should support local by ensuring appropriation of grants.

I support legislation that empowers County, Township, and municipal Governments to make decisions for their communities. If a local Government wants to restrict injection of chemicals that could contaminate ground water, they should have the power to not only file an injunction, they should be the deciding body. If a local Government wants to ban industrial Solar or Wind, they should be the deciding body. Local Governments know community needs better than any State agency.
It is not the job of the States to provide healthcare.

The State could encourage private insurance companies to offer better Health Savings Plans and a Parental Dependency Option.

We need to work toward a private option to replace Medicare and Medicaid.

The Ohio Department of Health needs to regain the trust of Ohio's medical professionals and Ohio citizens. Partnering with and abiding by CDC guidelines during the Covid years cost countless lives. These guidelines also silenced and tied the hands of our trusted physicians that were trying to do what is right for their patients. Financially incentivizing intubation via tax dollars should NEVER happen again.

Treat the cause, not the symptom.
ODNR does an incredible job caring for our natural resources and working on environmental conservation.

I grew up in Loudonville, some know it better as the Mohican area. We not only frequented Pleasant Hill State Park and Pleasant Hill Lake, it was home. We grew up on the Black Fork River. One of my jobs in High School was working for one of the Canoe Liveries; We would have river cleanup days where we would canoe downstream gather trash and cleaning up debris.

We must care for our natural resources, protect our ground water, aquifers, watersheds, and tributaries. Without clean water and soil, all species suffer.
Discrimination based on color, creed, religion, or sexual orientation is morally wrong. Should it be legally wrong?

I believe in a free society. A private business has a right to refuse service to anyone. It doesn't make good business sense, but they have the right to do so. Ohio is a Right to Work state which means businesses have a right to hire or fire workers as they see fit, while workers get to quit whenever they choose.

How soon until discrimination applies to companies that refuse to hire, service, rent or sell to someone based on their ESG score or their adherence to CRT?

Government should no longer be involved in ensuring no person is discriminated against. This is an individual, moral obligation.
