Because it is uncontested, the candidate was not asked to participate in this Voter Guide.Township Fiscal Officer Responsibilities: Ensure all fiscal duties of the Township are executed, including paying bills, preparing payrolls, receiving revenue and maintaining accurate records of all township accounts; maintain internal accounting controls, prepare financial reports and act as the liaison between the County Fiscal Officer and the State of Ohio Auditor’s office; assist the Trustees and department heads in formulating appropriations and a Township budget; maintain an accurate record of all Board of Trustees meetings, along with records for township roads, marks and brands, official oaths and bonds of officers.
