There are three candidates running for two open seats. Township Trustee Responsibilities: Provide residents with services such as road maintenance, cemetery management, police and fire protection, emergency medical services, solid waste disposal and zoning.  Also responsible for ditches, drains and other surface waters; line fences between adjacent properties; township hospitals or township hospital districts; and the control of weeds and brush.

Education and Experience 2008 Graduate from Alexander High School. 2010 graduate from OSU ATI with an associates in Beef Production management. Six years as Ames Township Trustee. Been an employee of the Athens County Engineers office for nine years.
I feel that one of our top needs is to improve and maintain the chip seal program that we have going on for our roadways. We would address this by trying to continue to add more mileage to what we have already established, with hopes of making it so more individuals have safer roadways to drive on.
I feel that the most important responsibility of office is to be very diligent with what funding we receive.
I would like to continue to build on what has been going on over the last six years that I have been in office. To continue to maintain roadways and cemeteries along with being diligent in the funding we receive.
