There are two candidates running for one open seat.Village Mayor Responsibilities: The mayor of a village shall be chief conservator of the peace therein and shall have the powers and duties provided by law. They shall be the president of the legislative authority and shall preside at all regular and special meetings thereof, but shall have no vote except in case of a tie.

Education and Experience PSHS Graduate with some college course w/Community College of the Air Force and Marshall University.
Village council is responsible for deciding of funding for and what projects to complete. The Mayor is responsible for insuring all departments function well together.
Ensuring that the village runs smoothly and that departments have what they need to accomplish their goals.
Close contact with the village clerk and council to ensure funds are available for responsible projected needs of the village.
