There are three candidates for this race. Two will be elected.Township Trustee Responsibilities: Provide residents with services such as road maintenance, cemetery management, police and fire protection, emergency medical services, solid waste disposal and zoning. Also responsible for ditches, drains and other surface waters; line fences between adjacent properties; township hospitals or township hospital districts; and the control of weeds and brush.

Education and Experience
Federal Hocking High School. 10 plus years road work experience. ACI Tech certification, Asphalt Level II Tech certification, Commercial spay license,
I believe the top need for the township is funding. Funding is more than just a need it's a must. We need to work better to try and find more money for the township whether it's through grants or from other sources. If the township doesn't have funding we can't do anything.
I believe the most important responsibility of this office is to serve the people of Carthage Township. And to do what's best for the township.
I have served the past 4 years as a trustee for the township. I have 10 years road work experience. I have also completed numours courses that relate to road maintenance and fire classes.
One of our top needs are better equipment to work with. I will do my best to find grants that we can use to get new equipment.
I feel my responsibility of this office is to maintain a safe roadway for the community.
I believe I’m a qualified candidate because of my 12 years experience working for the Athens County Engineers Office. My ability to run road maintenance equipment.
