I have years of working, volunteering, and parenting experience. I have gained many skills through those years of experience. I am a great communicator and listener. I am caring, humble, and open minded. I am a team player and can multitask. I believe all of those attributes would make a fantastic Township Supervisor.
I am running for Township Supervisor because I deeply and genuinely care about what happens here. I've lived here for 26 years. I went to school here and I am raising my family here. As a young mom and wife, I can relate to many local residents. I want to ensure that our township continues to be a safe, inclusive, and clean place to raise our families.
Additionally, I truly care about maintaining democracy.
I believe that local government officials should look to science and review the evidence that supports the arguments being made about flouride exposure. If Pennsylvania relies on local government to make these decisions, then we need to look at real scientific data and rely on experts to guide our decision making process. I vehemently oppose changing policies without getting all of the facts first.

I have served six years in the Army National Guard where I have learned from and worked with people from a variety of backgrounds. I served as a medic and then studied Information Technology and earned a degree and many certs. So I bring a driven work ethic, an education and I care about people but I can also balance a budget and improve systems. I have served as an Elder in my Church which is similar to being a Township Supervisor in some ways.
I care about my community and the recent political climate has driven me to be more involved. I want to make sure our community can take care of the kids, and be a fun and safe community well into the future. I care about making more accessible and useable public spaces and looking into green initiatives but I am also quite frugal and love to save money and plan ahead as well. I love to be involved and give back and I see running for Spring Township as a natural extension of that.
I really believe in and trust our experts. Scientists who have studied a subject for 10+ years of their life will always have an understanding that will be deeper than any YouTube video or Facebook link can provide in a few minutes of browsing. Because of this I tend to follow expert opinion and follow the science. Fluoride has been recommended as safe and more beneficial than harmful for over 50 years. I haven’t seen enough scientists change their mind on this to believe that anything has changed other than propaganda and distrust of authority being more readily embraced. In short, I would advocate for Fluoridation of public water to continue.
