3. Fluoridation in public water supplies has been studied by many agencies over many years. In Oct 2024, a federal court ruled that fluoride exposure poses a hazard to human health and ordered the EPA to respond. In Pennsylvania, decisions about fluoride in the water supplies are assigned to local government. What are your thoughts about the best way to manage this at the local level?

I have extensive research experience in the legal field as well as at the collegiate and corporate level. An effective Township Supervisor will review and research before coming to a conclusion and determination on decisions that will have long-term effects on the community.
It's time for change in our community. We need new people with new ideas that are going to put the work in to make the community better. We need supervisors who are looking into the future for the sake of the residents and their children. We want people to live here and retire here and we need to make Exeter a place that invites the community to do so.
We need to understand the current levels being introduced into the water system against what the federal government has deemed a hazard before creating a panic among the residents. What is deemed hazardous versus what is currently in the system and how can we make adjustments to keep the population healthy while complying with regulations.

As a 28-year resident and an incumbent candidate for the Board of Supervisors, I am familiar with both the strengths and challenges within our community. My experience includes serving as a past Chairman of the Board of Supervisors, being a member of the Friends of the Police charitable organization, and participating on the Township Fire Advisory Board. During my tenure on the board, we appealed water rate increases, completed the streetscape project under budget, and re-opened the historic RCC
The George Bell for Exeter Township Supervisor incumbent campaign is focused on several key areas to benefit our community. Fire Department – We need a facilities plan that addresses the specific needs of our emergency services personnel, including EMS. First Class Township Initiative – We will place a measure on the ballot in 2026 for community consideration regarding the transition to a First Class Township. Potential benefits include: 1. Improved representation 2. Shorter commissioner terms: 4 years rather than 6 years 3. Health Benefits Comprehensive Plan – We will collaborate with the Planning Commission and partner municipalities to update our Comprehensive Plan and ensure it reflects the future needs of our community.
According to PA American Water's website, our community is not listed among those with forced fluoridation. You can view this information here: https://www.amwater.com/paaw/water-quality/water-quality-faqs#q20. That said, as with many water regulations, the state government often relies on local communities to implement safety measures—and we will continue to address them as they arise. In Exeter Township specifically, it is actually the cost of water that currently has the greatest impact on families. In my role as Supervisor, I authored the first-ever rate rebuttal testimony by a township supervisor and will continue to fight for fair and reasonable rates for our community.

It's very simple for the past couple years the residents have been very unhappy with the way the township has been run and how they have been treated. My goal would be to change that 180 degrees. I belive I can do that.
