4. Fluoridation in public water supplies has been studied by many agencies over many years. In Oct 2024, a federal court ruled that fluoride exposure poses a hazard to human health and ordered the EPA to respond. In Pennsylvania, decisions about fluoride in the water supplies are assigned to local government. What are your thoughts about the best way to manage this at the local level?

I served on Robesonia Borough Council for 10 years. Nine as president. Also served as mayor for 13 years.
We need more transparency. We need council to work with community groups.
Keep the public informed. Pass a nepotism policy. Keep taxes low.
I was on our water authority for 15 years,chairman for 6. We do not put fluoride in our water.
Education, Experience I graduated from Central Penn Business College with a degree in Marketing Management. My work experience has primarily been in administration, management and human resources. My most recent work experience was with a local municipality, working closely with the Borough Manager and Borough Council as I performed administrative and secretarial tasks. This experience allowed me to be exposed to how a local municipality should operate, and challenges that could arise and ways to handle them.
Qualifications In addition to above mentioned experience, I served as Volunteer President of the Board and Leader of a $600k non-profit team for over 7 years, I effectively worked together with the team to meet its goals and objectives. Planned, organized and executed successful fundraisers in several arenas.
I've organized and run team meetings, provided detailed minutes and follow-up to outstanding items. Closely followed Robert's Rules of Order in maintaining professional, efficient and productive meetings.
As a 23 + year resident/taxpayer of the Borough, I want to improve transparency, communication and the perceived integrity of local officials amongst our residents. I'd work to help make this beautiful small Tree City town both safe and fun for residents, encouraging more participation from the community.
Develop methods of transparency and communication to our residents. Promote a Community encouraging residents to make a vested interest in getting involved. Publish an informative quarterly newsletter for residents of events and borough news, and update the website to make it informative and user friendly.
