Mom, Active volunteer in the community, committed to serving my community. Will do what’s right, even if it’s not popular.
I have served on Daniel Boone’s school board for the last 5 years, JOC member for Berks Career Tech Center, Cub Scout Leader, Sunday School leader, president of Birdsboro Parks and Recreation. I work to constantly improve my community, so everyone can be proud to call Daniel Boone their school district.
As a mom with 4 children in school, I know what strengths our district has and what we could do better in. I strive to take in all points of views and opinions, I will work together with the community and administration to make Daniel Boone the best public school in Pennsylvania.
Cyber Charter School tuition - I will contact local representatives and work together to find a reasonable tuition rate.
Balancing our budget and being a fiscally responsible board.
Working on finding other areas of revenue.
I believe in offering high school courses that better prepare our students for adulthood. I also believe in encouraging students that don’t want to go to college, to consider attending our tech school.
AI definitely should be taught as a tool. Our students will more than likely use AI, Zoom and many other platforms in the working field and I believe in preparing them for the future.
