Trustees are the elected officials responsible for guiding the overall operation of the township. They make decisions on road maintenance, safety services, parks, cemeteries, zoning, and the care of township property. Trustees also adopt the township’s budget, manage tax dollars responsibly, and work to ensure that local services are delivered efficiently and effectively.

In addition to these responsibilities, Trustees serve as the community’s voice in county and regional matters. They are often the first point of contact when residents have concerns or questions about township services. In short, Trustees are the local leaders who balance fiscal responsibility with the duty to meet the needs of the community.

I see the role of Trustee as not only maintaining what works well today but also planning for the future so that our township continues to be a safe, welcoming, and well-run place to live.
