Healthcare - I have worked my entire career in healthcare - first as a nurse and for the last 25 years as an administrator/CEO.

The availability of affordable housing, particularly for families, is a key issue. Policies that support the development of affordable, sustainable housing are a priority.
I favor an independent, non-partisan approach to redistricting. District lines should fall along natural, existing borders, such as county lines, school district borders, etc.
We need to promise the next generation that we will leave them clean air, water, and soil. I support any and all initiatives that will help us deliver on that promise. The solutions may not be convenient, but the alternative is unacceptable.
I support a complete review and restructuring of the funding of public education. A heavy reliance on local property taxes and the continuation of revenue limits requiring local school districts to go to referendum for increases in operating revenue, which is then raised solely from property taxes, has resulted in a shift in tax burden to local property tax payers and created the opportunity for growing disparity in the quality of education received by children across Wisconsin.
