What do you see as the most pressing housing-related issue in Wisconsin, and what policies, if any, would you support to address the issue?
What redistricting process, if any, do you believe the legislature should put in place before the next national census to ensure fair representation for voters?
What, if anything, will you do to ensure our schools have the resources to improve outcomes for its students, including those with disabilities?
What guardrails, if any, would you support to protect our environment, health, property values, and household budgets from large projects such as hyperscale data centers and Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations (CAFOs)?

My priorities are to address the rising cost of property taxes. We as taxpayers want to fund our schools. Unfortunately the literacy rate in our schools are below standard. We need to have accountability on how we are spending our tax dollars so that the students are receiving the education they deserve. I would like work at raising the literacy rate in our schools and paying teachers accordingly without putting the burden on property owners. We have a critical problem with literacy. I do not believe more money is the solution. Some problems cannot be fixed by just throwing more money at the problem.
The most pressing problem with housing is the dramatic rise in construction costs. For first time home owners the high cost of construction plus the ever rising property taxes are making harder than ever to achieve home ownership a reality. I would work to lower the rise in property taxes.
The legislature should use a citizen based commission to draw the district lines in a non partisan process. We cannot have a legislature that is biased for one party or the other to redraw lines for their own political party.
We need accountability on how our tax dollars are spent. The first priority is not a beautiful structure. The first priority is to have the tools for teachers to do their job. Many other countries in the World pay far less per student than the US does yet, they post higher literacy rates. The Special Education programs need to be addressed. We cannot wait until students are entering HIgh School to identify learning disabilities. I believe more emphasis should be placed in the grade schools.
Data Centers should be not rely on public funds to operate. Data Centers need to abide by all Federal and local environment guard rails. Data Centers should also be able to generate their own power needs without over taxing our electrical grid. CAFOs need to construct facilities that can humanely handle large concentrations of live stock and dispose to the waste without destroying the environment.
