I will support job creation and workforce development across Wisconsin, ensuring that businesses have the skilled workers they need, while workers have access to quality jobs. We need to make healthcare more accessible and affordable, particularly in rural areas where clinics and hospitals are closing. I want to ensure that all Wisconsinites, especially in rural areas, have access to high-speed internet, a necessity for education, business, and healthcare. We need to improve educational outcomes by ensuring schools are fully funded and that students have access to the resources they need to succeed, particularly in low-income and rural districts. We should prioritize protecting Wisconsin’s natural resources by cleaning up pollutants and PFAS while promoting clean energy solutions to combat climate change and foster a sustainable economy. We also need to protect voting rights for all citizens. Having lived and worked in both rural and urban Wisconsin, I understand the unique challenges faced by each. This dual perspective helps me advocate for policies like rural broadband expansion, while also addressing urban infrastructure needs and educational disparities. My commitment to collaboration ensures I can build coalitions to address Wisconsin’s biggest issues, from economic growth to fair maps. I am dedicated to creating an inclusive Wisconsin where everyone has a chance to succeed. Through these priorities and my qualifications, I am ready to tackle Wisconsin’s most pressing challenges and build a more prosperous, connected, and fair state for all residents.
The most pressing housing-related issue in Wisconsin is the lack of affordable housing, which affects both urban and rural communities. Rising home prices, a limited housing supply, and increasing rental costs are putting significant financial pressure on families and individuals across the state. To address this, I would support the policies that provide incentives to developers for building affordable housing units, particularly in underserved areas. This could include tax credits, grants, or low-interest loans for projects that prioritize affordability. I would encourage zoning reforms that allow for a greater variety of housing types, including duplexes, townhomes, and apartments, to increase the housing supply and promote affordability. The legislature could establish or expand a state housing trust fund to help finance affordable housing projects and assist low- and moderate-income families with down payments and rental assistance. We could also foster partnerships between the state, local governments, and private developers to create more affordable housing while addressing infrastructure needs. I would fight to strengthen tenant protections to prevent unjust evictions and consider rent stabilization measures in high-cost areas to ensure working families aren’t priced out of their communities. These policies aim to create more affordable housing options, reduce the burden on renters and homeowners, and ensure that all Wisconsinites have access to safe, stable, and affordable housing.
To ensure fair representation for voters, the legislature should adopt a nonpartisan redistricting process before the next national census. I would support establishing an independent commission made up of nonpartisan members rather than allowing politicians to draw district lines. This would reduce bias and ensure that voters choose their representatives, not the other way around. This group could make the redistricting process open and transparent, allowing for public hearings and feedback to ensure community voices are heard and districts reflect local interests. The commission should ensure that districts are drawn based on clear criteria, such as geographic continuity, population equality, and respect for communities of interest, rather than partisan advantage or incumbent protection. These reforms would help restore public trust in our elections and ensure that every voter’s voice is fairly represented in Wisconsin’s democracy.
To promote environmental sustainability in Wisconsin, I would support several key initiatives aimed at protecting our natural resources while fostering economic growth. We can expand incentives for renewable energy sources like solar and biomass. This includes tax credits, grants, and support for community-based renewable projects, aiming to reduce reliance on fossil fuels and lower emissions. I will be uncompromising and strengthen policies to protect Wisconsin's lakes, rivers, and groundwater from PFAS and other pollutants. This includes stricter regulations on agricultural runoff, industrial pollutants, and expanded funding for water infrastructure and cleanup. We should support programs that encourage sustainable farming practices, such as crop rotation, organic farming, and reduced pesticide use. These practices help protect soil and water quality while supporting local farmers. The legislature should promote energy efficiency programs for homes and businesses by providing incentives for retrofitting buildings, improving insulation, and using more efficient appliances, reducing both energy costs and carbon footprints. We should properly fund projects that protect communities from the impacts of climate change, such as flood prevention, wetland restoration, and preserving green spaces. These initiatives would position Wisconsin as a leader in environmental sustainability while creating jobs and protecting our state’s natural beauty for future generations.
To ensure our schools have the resources to improve outcomes for all students, including those with disabilities, I would advocate for increasing state funding for public schools, with a focus on closing the funding gaps that disproportionately affect low-income and rural districts. More funding would allow schools to reduce class sizes, hire more qualified teachers, and provide the necessary resources to improve student outcomes. I will push for full state funding of special education programs, ensuring that students with disabilities receive the services and support they need without placing additional financial strain on districts. This includes funding for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), specialized staff, and assistive technologies. The legislature should support initiatives that provide ongoing professional development for teachers and staff to better meet the needs of diverse learners. This can improve instructional strategies, classroom management, and inclusivity in the classroom. We can advocate for increased investment in school-based mental health services, counseling, and behavioral support programs. These services are essential to helping students, including those with disabilities, overcome barriers to learning and succeed in school. All students, including those in underserved areas and those with disabilities, should have access to modern technologies. This includes assistive technology for students with disabilities and ensuring high-speed internet access in every district.

To find new ways to over come the partisan politics that lead us to get nothing done. My qualifications to get things done are my people skills and my independent nature. I believe I can effectively address those issues by finding common ground that both sides can work on.
What the most pressing issue in housing is that no one can afford to build new houses any more. What I have been doing is to help build new homes with my own two hands for small family's . And would support any measure that would help our community to do so.
I think most systems in our government need an over haul up date and should get with the times ,utilize new technology. Be as non partisan as possibly and realize we need to come together to ensure fair representation for voters.
I believe the farmer has a large part to do with ever thing. We should support our middle to small size farmer. Cut the red tape that prevents farmers from entering in to certain programs that would be good for both the farmer and the community. So we could all have a more sustainable environment for the entire state of Wisconsin.
We have such a short fall when it comes to those with disabilities that we need to do any thing we can to help support our schools. I realize that they are doing the best they can with what they have. But if you don't invest in your present you might just lose your future.
