I bring real-world leadership and direct experience serving youth. I’ve worked as a case manager for at-risk children and teens, helping families navigate challenges and access support. I currently serve as a Deputy Court Clerk for Shelby County and am a business owner and healthcare partner. As a radio personality, I stay connected to Memphis. I’m also pursuing my MBA to strengthen my leadership and decision-making.
The top issues are early literacy and teacher support. If students aren’t reading by third grade, they fall behind. I support early intervention and parent engagement to meet that standard. We must also support teachers with competitive pay, strong development, and safe classrooms. Strong teachers and strong readers build strong schools.
Community involvement is essential. I will host town halls, community meetings, and use digital platforms to keep communication open. My media background helps me clearly share decisions with the public. I will also partner with local organizations and community leaders to ensure decisions reflect the voices of the people we serve.
