I believe that God needs to be in the public square, and he has been assaulted by the courts, and the public education system. We are in need of a remembrance of the foundation that brought us here, and upon what our system of justice was laid. As for skills, I can read, and probably write. Unless it’s handwritten, then all bets are off. I am continually discovering that I am not the best candidate, but here I am nonetheless.
I do support it. I don’t think it should be backfilled. We have had historic revenue from property taxes the last few years, and I see no reason why they need more money.
I support the sale or exchange of public land that does not serve the public. If it does the public no good, should we not put it in the hands of someone who will do good with it?
I think it is exorbitant. I think we need to fundamentally change how we educate, seeking innovative and new ways, while also looking at long established practices that also work.
My opinion is probably not popular. I believe the government should compel justice, and allow mercy. It is not just to take from one man and give it to another. It is very merciful to do so. As we know the nature of mercy is that it cannot be compelled, and taxes are not optional, I would suggest we let people be merciful of their own free will. But then again, I may not know what you mean by “social services”, and would perhaps beg for further clarification upon the matter. What does “social services” circumscribe?
